Session Objectives


  • Healthy Living: Clients will learn various yoga poses, stretches, and Zumba exercises in order to have fun while staying healthy!
  • Creative Arts: Clients will learn about a plethora of art techniques that incorporate science and history seamlessly.
  • Adult Education: Clients will further their learning of life skills through ASL, Braille, and much more. Clients will explore indoor and outdoor gardening, participate in team building exercises, learn various STEAM activities, and participate in indoor and outdoor sports.

We will be closed on May 10th for Barc for The Arc!


We will be celebrating Star Wars day by wearing anything we have themed to star wars. “May the 4th be with you”


WE will be closed May 27th-28th


We will be following a 2 class schedule: each client can pick and choose which class they want to attend for that time frame

Kaitlyn is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in program management and development, curriculum building, and community engagement. With a passion for innovation and a proven track record of success, Kaitlyn has consistently delivered exceptional results in various domains. In addition to their program management skills, Kaitlyn brings extensive knowledge in curriculum building and implementation. They have a deep understanding of designing educational programs that align with organizational objectives, incorporating the latest learning methodologies and technologies. Kaitlyn takes pride in crafting engaging and effective curriculum that enrich the learning experiences of all participants.

Dani Bailey, Program Instructor at The ARC of the Capital Area, is a dedicated practicing mixed media/multi-disciplinary artist who has a true passion for working with clients with IDD. Her two years with AmeriCorps, at Imagine Art, ignited this passion as well as more than adequately prepared her. She is great with meeting clients where they are, and creatively pushing them to new places with their skills. Always very patient, she is able to cater to individual needs. She graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2020. She served with Imagine Art before joining the ARC team. She currently resides in Austin, proper, enjoying the uniqueness and creative flow the city has to offer. She is so excited to work with the ARC clients, hoping to inspire and uplift a new group of adults with IDD. To quote Buzz Lightyear, “Reach for the stars”.
